Fee Information

Fees for Registering a Carbon Sequestration Project are calculated using a sliding scale based on the number of acres reported in the Project.

Projects with less than 500 acres have a fee of $100.00

Projects with 500 to 5000 acres have a fee of $250.00

Projects with more than 5000 acres have a fee of $500.00

Fees are paid by credit card and are collected after the project has been entered into the Registry database. Participants with Registry accounts will see a Fees button in their list of Registry Projects on their Participant Start Page.
